Erdogan spoke about Turkish-Russian patrols in Syria

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that Russian-Turkish patrols in northeastern Syria will begin on Friday.

“We will continue patrolling seven kilometers south of our border (with Syria). <…> If necessary, we will expand the territory of the security zone”, –  the head of state added.

According to Anadolu agency, the Turkish leader also noted that 558 settlements were liberated and more than 900 terrorists were liquidated in the area of Operation Source of Peace on an area of 4.2 thousand square kilometers.
