The opening ceremony of the Games was held at the Wuhan Sports Center in Hubei Province.

The VII World Summer War Games will be held in Wuhan, Hubei Province, China from October 18 to 27, 2019. According to the organizers, more than 9,300 military personnel from 109 countries will take part in them, which is a record in history. Competitions will be held in 329 disciplines in 27 sports.
The Russian Armed Forces national team at the upcoming Games included 257 athletes, they will perform in 23 sports.
The games are held under the auspices of the International Council of Military Sports (CISM), created in February 1948.
