Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said joint Russian-Iranian military exercises will be held in the Indian Ocean.
“We will conduct joint military exercises with Russia in the Indian Ocean. Maybe other countries will also be interested in joining these exercises”, – Zarif comments.
He did not specify the timing of the exercises and the forces that will be used in them.
In July it was reported that Iran and Russia agreed to expand military cooperation.
