In Latakia CAA fighters stormed Kabani

The soldiers of the Syrian army took decisive measures to capture the well-fortified city of terrorists in the highlands of Latakia. The video below shows another assault attempt on Kabana. Entire areas in Latakia have become a “desert” after many years of bombardment.

Syrian Arab Army (CAA) units have recently shown rapid advancement in southern Idlib. An attempt to make a similar breakthrough was also made in the highlands of Latakia. Thus, according to the report by the Arab information portal Almasdarnews (AMN), a prolonged heavy siege of a mountain fortress of militants in the province may soon end with another military triumph of Damascus. This development may take place with the assistance of air strikes of the Russian air forces.

The source notes that after the Russian Air Forces worked out for targets located on the southern outskirts of the city, the SAA units, led by the elite 42nd Brigade of the Giaf Force and the 4th Armored Division, launched a large-scale offensive.

Thus far, the Syrian Arab Army has managed to capture most of the points south of Kabani; however, in order to capture the town, they will need to seize the last hills under the control of Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham and the Turkestan Islamic Party.
