Yemen: At least six killed in Saudi-led airstrikes on suspected Houthi positions

Devastated buildings and rubble-filled streets were filmed in central Sanaa on Thursday, after the Saudi-led coalition conducted airstrikes on alleged Houthi positions across the country, killing at least six people and wounding many more, according to local sources.

Medias close to the Houthis said that the airstrikes targeted residential areas in the centre of the capital, resulting in casualties and significant architectural damage. In addition, two Houthi facilities on the outskirts of Sanaa were also struck.

Meanwhile, Saudi-led coalition spokesperson Colonel Turki al-Malki confirmed that they launched airstrikes, targeting suspected Houthi weapons’ warehouses and positions on the Mountain of Attan, near Sanaa.
