Bomb threats reported on 3 shopping centers in Brussels

Three of Brussels’ main commercial centers were closed off on Friday afternoon following suspicions of bomb threats, according to the spokesperson for the Brussels-Midi police, confirming information from several media outlets.

The targets for the bomb threats were the Woluwe and Westland Shopping Centers and the Docks, three of of the most popular spots in the Belgian capital of Brussels, which led the police to evacuate the areas and close the parameters for the general public, China’s Xinhua News Agency reported.

The specialised services of the federal police are currently on the grounds inspecting the scene.
