Chisinau decided to try Poroshenko’s gas scam

For a long time, the Kiev regime, proudly stating that it does not buy Russian gas, acquired it in reverse from neighboring European countries several times more expensive than the initial price. Now Moldova intends to go the same way.

As the Acting Prime Minister of Moldova Pavel Filip said, the construction of the Ungheni-Chisinau gas pipeline, which will allow the republic to receive gas from neighboring Romania, will continue on May 2. The corresponding contract has already been signed with the Romanian state-owned companies Transgaz S.A. Mediaș. The cost of the project is estimated at 93 million euros.

It is worth noting that the first section of the pipeline was built in 2014. Then he was financed by the European Union, but the continuation of construction was constantly postponed.

However, a much more important problem is that Romania, which consumes about 11 billion cubic meters of gas per year, produces only 10, which means that Moldova will have to buy Russian gas, but now with a premium that Bucharest will appoint .
