Sudan’s Military Council calls on the country’s political forces to build dialogue, head of the Council’s political committee General Omar Zein Al-Abidin said at a press conference on Friday.
“Today, we are launching dialogue with political forces,” he said. “Our goal is to establish stability and security in the country so we call on all parties to engage in efforts to outline Sudan’s future.”
According to the general, the army “has no ambition to usurp the power. “We are here to move the country forward,” Omar Zein Al-Abidin emphasized.
