Venezuela: Guaido urges supporters to mobilise ‘one by one’ against govt.

Venezuelan opposition leader and Head of the National Assembly Juan Guaido called on his supporters to organise themselves “square by square, bloc by block, one by one” in mobilising against the Venezuelan government, during a rally in Caracas on Friday. “We are many, we are the majority in this moment, and we know that,” Guaido said. “From the 6th of April everything will be what we can do as Venezuelans. Go all in. We will go all in for this country because it is worthy of it. Because it is clear that it is worth it,” Guaido added. On Thursday, Guaido called on supporters to demonstrate on Saturday and April 6. On Thursday, Venezuelan state controller Elvis Amoroso said Guaido would be barred from holding public office for 15 years, citing alleged inconsistencies in his financial records.
