Israeli forces shoot, injure Palestinian in Gaza’s night protests

One Palestinian was shot and injured by Israeli forces, on late Wednesday, during night protests along the northeastern borders of the besieged Gaza Strip.

A Ma’an reporter said that the Palestinian was shot in his thigh by Israeli live fire and was transferred to a hospital to receive necessary medical treatment.  The injured Palestinian remained unidentified. Locals said that hundreds of Palestinians arrived to the northeastern borders of Gaza to participate in “Night Confusion” protests to protest against the nearly 12-year Israeli siege.

Sources added that Israeli forces fired live fire and tear-gas bombs towards protesters.

For several weeks, hundreds of Palestinian protesters, have been organizing, as well as participating in night protests, during which they set tires on fire and chant slogans through loud speakers, while marching towards the border with Israel.
