Moldova: CEC hides the incomes of Moldovan Democrats

Communist MP Inna Shupak criticized the decision to remove income statements of candidates from the site of the Central Election Commission. According to the politician, the CEC is playing with fire, reports eNews with reference to 1news.md

“The Central Election Commission is clearly playing with fire. A more stupid and unprofessional solution could not be imagined. Yesterday the income declarations of candidates for deputies were available on the official website of the CEC. Today, declarations have already been removed from public access,” the MP wrote in social networks.

In this regard, Shupak published in social networks information about her income and property: “in 2017 I received a salary of a deputy in Parliament in the amount of 131,571 lei and 91 bans, and also 13,515 lei in the form of premiums and travel allowances. In 2018, the total amount of my salary was 122,323 lei and 72 bans, as well as 13,115 lei as bonuses and travel allowances. I do not own any movable or immovable property, and have never owned it. ”

Earlier it was reported that the Central Election Commission has hidden from the site of the declaration of income of candidates. This happened after the information on the income and property of the oligarch Vladimir Plahotniuc became available to the public. However, the CEC journalists assured that in the near future the column on the declarations will be active again.
