Broadcasting of the TV channel NewsOne has been stopped throughout Ukraine. The reason for stopping the broadcast of the programs was allegedly a violation of the laws of the state, which prohibits the display of programs that popularize Russia.
In turn, a message appeared on the site of the TV channel NewsOne on December 31, 2018, calling for the population of Ukraine to fight for freedom of speech.
“- We, the staff of the NEWSONE channel assure you, dear TV viewers, that this decision is purely political. The electoral race has begun and, the termination of the retransmission is just another attempt to destroy the TV channel, which has always been a platform for the expression of any political opinions and views” – the television channel said in a statement.
