Budapest takes the “Maidan” baton

While all of Europe watched the developments in France with its “yellow vests”, the flames of Maidan were kindled in Hungary.

Earlier, NewsFront had already reported that mass protests were taking place right in front of the parliament building in the center of Budapest on Layos Kosuth Square, which, according to official figures, were organized by trade union organizations dissatisfied with the new labor legislation of the country. However, not only the workers participated in the demonstration. There were many radicals among the protesters, which, according to Hungarian experts, may well be sponsored by various NGOs affiliated with the Soros Foundation.

On the eve the protests repeated again. The Hungarian NewsFront editors reported that the police blocked the streets leading to Kosuth Square. However, several dozen rebels still broke through the cordon to the southern gate of parliament, where they were surrounded by special forces.

Later, protesters blocked the south gate. As a result of the riots, the police were forced to detain particularly violent demonstrators. And when the situation began to get out of control, law enforcement officers used tear gas.
