State of Palestine: Israeli missiles flatten ‘Hamas intelligence centre’ – IDF

Israeli jets and missiles destroyed al-Amal hotel – which Israel claims houses Hamas’s main internal security building – in Gaza City on Monday night.

Eight people were reportedly injured in the bombing.

In a statement, the Israeli Defence Force said the hotel contained Hamas military intelligence operations and had been used to spy on Israel.

The multi-storey building was reportedly in a populated area in the northern Gaza Strip, near a school.

Images of the bombing were filmed in the Western Sands neighbourhood and Omar al-Mukhtar street in the city’s east.
