Donald Trump shuts down ‘racist’ question from ‘terrible’ reporter

Donald Trump fired back at PBS reporter, Yemi Alcindor, after she asked whether Trump and the Republican party now endorsed white nationalism during the president’s post-midterm conference at the White House.

The reporter opened by stating: “On the campaign trail you called your self a nationalist, some people saw that as emboldening white nationalism.

“There are some people that now say the Republican party is seen as supporting white nationalists because of your rhetoric, what do you make of that.

The president then interrupted to ask a rhetorical question directed at the reporter.

He said: “Why do I have my highest poll numbers with African Americans?

“Why do I have among the highest poll numbers with African Americans?”

In disbelief, Trump insisted: “That is such a racist question, honestly.

“You know what, I love our country.

“You have nationalists, you have globalists, I also love the world.

“I don’t mind helping the world, but we have to straighten out our country first.

“We have a lot of problems.

“To say that is so insulting to me, its a very terrible thing what you said.”

The conversation then drifted to trumps language used when speaking on his immigration policies and he again defended himself against the reporters.

He said: “I don’t use racist remarks and I would never do that.

“And if I did, the media would have known about it.”
