The Pro-American armed group “Syrian democratic forces” allowed the militants of the Islamic state to strengthen along a large section of the Syrian-Iraqi border. This is stated in the message of a telegram channel Directorate 4.
According to media reports, in this regard, the Iraqi Armed forces were forced to strengthen their positions along the border to prevent the penetration of jihadists into the country.
At the moment, troops, as well as armored vehicles, in particular BRAM-1 and BMP-1, have been deployed to the area of the al-Qaim checkpoint.
As previously reported, the Arab-Kurdish forces were knocked out of the locality of Susa in the Euphrates valley. Sandstorm which lasted several days had left SDF without support from aviation of the international coalition, and the men in the group were forced to leave the settlement of Musan and Bagus Pukani. Thus during the retreat they had abandoned equipment, weapons and ammunition.
