Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte denied any possibility of an Italian withdrawal from the European Union or the Eurozone, while speaking at a press conference in Rome on Monday.
Conte answered questions by the foreign press saying “For Italy there’s no way to get Italexit, there’s no way to get out of Europe or the Eurozone.’
Mentioning this week’s visit to Russia, where a number of trade deals between Italian and Russian companies are to be signed, Conte stressed the importance of allowing Russia to once again join the G7, saying “we are struggling to solve problems because we are not all sitting around the table.”
