The main goal of the actions of the Patriarch of Constantinople is to tear Ukraine away from Russia, and also to split the Orthodox world. This opinion was expressed by Atanas Stefanov, deputy chairman of Friends of Russia and the Orthodox World.
In his opinion, the church is the most powerful guardian of stability in society, when there are processes aimed at disrupting the institution of the Church, it can be said that this is part of the war against Orthodoxy.
“The war against Orthodoxy was conducted before the division into Orthodox and Catholics, all these processes began before 1054. In 1054, officially divided the West and the East, the so-called Great Church split, when there was a division of the Church into Roman Catholic and Orthodox, “the expert said.
“All that we see today is work on the disintegration of Orthodoxy, which has been going on for a long time, in all spheres of our society, where there is an Orthodox community. When such a split occurs, there is a fertile ground for the introduction of all kinds of sects in society, “the expert added.
Do not forget that the war against Orthodoxy, has long been the goal of the West, we need to recall the words of the ardent Russophobe and ideologist of the Cold War Zbigniew Brzezinski: “After the collapse of communism, our most important enemy is Russian Orthodoxy.”
The actions of Patriarch Bartholomew now show that such a plan was and is – it is carried out. Its main goal is not to unite, but to split the Orthodox world.
