US Senator: Remaining terrorist hotbeds in Syria will be eliminated

US Senator Richard Black expressed his satisfaction with the return of security in Syria and the hope that the remaining terrorist hotbeds will be eliminated.

In a statement to journalists at his departure from Syria at the checkpoint Zhdeidet Yabus, Black said that during his visit to Syria he felt the love of the Syrian people for its army and leadership, which preserved the unity of the country and restored security.

Black noted that while Syria and its allies fought against the Daesh terrorist organization, the United Kingdom, the United States, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Turkey, supported and financed it.

He highly appreciated the security and stability situation in the areas he visited, the role of local reconciliation supported by the Syrian state, and the return of the Syrians to their homes.

Black criticized American diplomats who do not cease to threaten the war and imposing sanctions instead of finding ways of cooperation between countries and peoples.
