Serbian Foreign Minister: I’m not sure that Pristina wants a compromise

Serbia is determined to seek a compromise in the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina, but there are doubts about the intentions of the Kosovo side, Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic said.

“This (compromise) would contribute to the stability of the whole region,” the minister said.

“But it is too early to talk about what we will come to, because there are doubts that the other side wants it,” he added.

Recently, a dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina about the settlement of the Kosovo issue has been intensified.

The self-proclaimed “Republic of Kosovo” unilaterally declared independence from Serbia in 2008.
