Republika Srpska announced the terrible consequences of NATO bombing

Following Serbia, which began a scientific investigation into the aftermath of the NATO bombings in 1999, Republika Srpska declared declared such a situation. There is an increase in the incidence of cancer, the Belgrade newspaper Politika reports.

As an example, the Kalinovik district is cited, where from a two-thousand-strong population 56 people died of cancer, and 24 are considered ill. Mostly these are citizens from 30 to 60 years old.

“At the same time, their offspring are also at risk of cancer as a consequence of radioactive bombardment,” the district chairman Mileva Komlenovic added .

Republika Srpska was bombed by NATO in 1995.
