Italy: Search for Genoa bridge survivors continues round the clock

Italian rescuers continued to search for possible survivors of the deadly motorway bridge collapse in the northwestern Italian city of Genoa on Wednesday morning. The disaster has claimed the lives of at least 26 people, but authorities fear the number will rise.

A giant crane was used to move huge slabs of concrete, which had plummeted to the ground by some 45 metres (148ft) the day before.
