Syrian Army destroys main terrorist stronghold in South

Syrian Army units destroyed the main terrorist center in Sharaya area, according to military reports released today in this capital.
The first reports indicated that during the heavy fighting the Egyptian mercenary Abu Walid Al Masri, head of the Islamic State (Daesh) in the area, was killed.

Dispersed elements of the armed extremists moved to the villages of Marieh, Adbeen, Beit Arab and Qassir, the last remaining in their hands after reducing the area under their control in Daraa in less than 72 hours, the sources said.

Immediately, demining began in Sharaya and its surroundings, while in open violation of Syrian airspace, Israeli reconnaissance aircraft flew over the region.
