Putin, Trump to establish working group for development of economic cooperation

Leaders of Russia and United States have agreed to create a working group with prominent business representatives of both countries to develop economic cooperation, says President of Russia Vladimir Putin at a press-conference this Monday

“To promote development of mutual trade and investments, President Trump and I agreed to establish a high-level group that will bring together captains of Russian and US business. Entrepreneurs know better how to build up mutually beneficial cooperation. Let them think what can be done and let them present proposals in this regard,” Putin says.

Special attention was dedicated to the economy during talks and business communities of both countries definitely have interest to cooperate, the Russian president noted. The US delegation was also among the strongest at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum in May, with more than 500 representatives of the US business in attendance, Putin added.
