Putin, Trump meet one-on-one at Helsinki summit

Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump have started their first full-fledged talks at the presidential palace in Helsinki with a tete-a-tete.

The two leaders shook hands and posed for photographs.

Putin and Trump are expected to hold a one-on-one meeting in the presence of interpreters first. Later on, they will be joined by the members of their delegations, including the US state secretary and Russian foreign minister, at a working lunch.
