Armenian President Armen Sargsyan met with US Secretary of State Michael Pompeo during his working visit to the United States on Friday in Washington. This was reported on Saturday by the press service of the presidential administration.
“During the meeting President Sargsyan said that Armenia attaches great importance to the consistent development of the Armenian-American partnership and presented the Secretary of State the readiness of the “new Armenia” to continue to strengthen relations with the United States,” the press office of the Armenian leader said.
Prior to his arrival in the US, Sargsyan paid a working visit to the UK and France, where he met with representatives of the administrations of the two countries and heads of large enterprises.
