Earlier, the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Freedom of Speech and Information Policy recommended that the parliament prohibit the broadcasting of the championship in the country. However, the Rada was not able to include in the agenda of the session a draft resolution on the prohibition, for this there were not enough votes.
