Ukraine lawmakers introduce law forbidding celebration of Nazi defeat in WWII

The Verkhovna Rada registered a bill that repeals the celebration of the Victory Day on May 9. The author of the initiative, deputy Andrei Denisenko, who was elected to the Ukrainian parliament from Dnepropetrovsk  wrote in his blog.

I think it’s time to abandon the artificial date invented by Stalin on May 9, the celebration of which was transformed  into a farce of embarrassment and myth of the Soviet-Russian world.

“We’ll have our own victory day soon – when we destroy Russia” he adds.
