Acting Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov on the results of negotiations with his German counterpart reported on the need to “formalize on paper the so-called Steinmeier’s formula on the endowment of special status to Donbass”.
“German colleagues have their own ideas. We said that the ministers are obliged to complete what was mandated by the three presidents and the Chancellor a year and a half ago in Berlin, namely, to obtain consent for the cultivation of forces and assets in Stanitsa Luganskaya, the Ukrainian side in spite of repeated confirmation of the OSCE on the possibility of doing so,” Lavrov said.
