As was previously reported, the United States purchased Soviet-era armored vehicles in Kazakhstan and other CIS countries and Eastern Europe which were further delivered to terrorist groups in the Middle East.
At the beginning of the month it became known about the transfer of T-72 and T-55 tanks, as well as armored vehicles: IFV-1 and IFV-2 to Afghanistan, to form the main “backbone” of ISIS terrorists.
From September 2017 to March 2018, this equipment was also delivered to Syria. Having surrendered their positions to government forces, the Jaysh al-Islam group transferred more than 30 armored vehicles to the Syrian army.
Answering the question about the source of supply, the militants of the group told that all this was transferred by representatives of the US Army in order to confront the government and the SAA army.
