Natalia Veselnitskaya – the lawyer who participated in the meeting of the son of US President, Donald Trump Jr. with Russian representatives in the Trump Tower skyscraper in 2016, expressed surprise at the fact that US special prosecutor Robert Muller has not yet addressed her with a request for information on the alleged Moscow interference in elections in the United States.

In an interview with the Associated Press, the lawyer noted that the special prosecutor, in her opinion, “is not working to establish the truth”.

Veselnitskaya told Interfax about meeting with Senate Intelligence Committee investigators in Berlin this march. “I named certain names – Jonathan Wiener and David Kremer. These two get money from the federal budget – one of them from the State Department, the other is in public organizations in order to legalize the entire anti-Russian project, “she added.

The lawyer also added that the investigators not only asked questions, but were also interested in her opinion on the situation. “I told investigators that these two people worked for Browder and did everything to make his private history become transparent”Veselnitskaya said.

“They did not interrupt me. They listened very carefully. Their questions were short and as clear as possible, ” her lawyer added.

According to her, the investigators were mostly interested in meeting at the Trump Tower in 2016. She, however, did not voice any new data to the representatives of the Congress, reiterating that the Russian authorities were not involved in any way in these negotiations.
