The situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina is stable but we are investigating reports of extremist activity, said the security minister of this country Dragan Mektich, answering questions in the parliament.

“These organizations spread religious intolerance, often under the guise of patritorism through internet, posters, graffiti. There are also cases of attacks on religious places and burial sites of other faiths. Some of the groupings are associated with similar organizations in the Balkans and criminal structures in the region,” Mektich said.

Deputies also noted that there are many migrants on the border of Bosnia who want to use the country to get to Europe.

According to studies, Bosnia and Herzegovina and the province of Kosovo and Metohija are the territories in Europe with the largest percentage of ISIS militants in relation to the population.
