Demonstrators clashed with riot police at an anti-North Korea protest in Seoul on Sunday.
Protesters held images with large red crosses through prominent figures from the North, including its leader Kim Jong-un and his sister Kim Yo-jung, before setting them alight on the speaker’s platform.
South Korean police quickly stepped in to put out the flames.
The demonstrators are unhappy about the participation of North Korea in the Olympic Games, which they see as providing cover for Pyongyang’s nuclear weapons programme.
