Breaking: Kurds ask SAA to protect them from Turkish attacks

The Kurdish administration, which runs the Syrian enclave of Afrin, called on the government in Damascus to protect the region and its inhabitants from the ongoing attack by Turkish troops and pro-Turkish militants.

In a statement, the Kurds claim that their militia has defended Afrin boundaries from terrorists and invaders for the past six years, and that they will continue to do so even after the Syrian armed forces enter this region.

Recently, there have been reports that the Afrin leadership allegedly asked the authorities for protection, but this information was refuted later by official representatives of the Kurds.
