Lawyer Natalia Veselnitskaya, who was engaged in a private investigation of the management company Hermitage Capital, told RT why the US Congress does not call her to give oral testimony on the case of “Russian interference” in the 2016 US election.
According to Veselnitskaya, after giving written evidence, Washington may decide to call a witness on the case in question to Congress.
After the transfer of answers to 174 questions that were previously published by the American media, the lawyer never received a summon.
“I guess that, in principle … they know all the answers that I can give, so they are unprofitable to them,” Veselnitskaya said.
At the same time, she announced her readiness to come to Washington, but provided that the US authorities ensure the safety of her stay in the country.
