The Prime Minister of the self-proclaimed “Republic of Kosovo” Ramush Haradinaj said that he would accept everyone who return from military operations in Syria and other countries of the Middle East, explaining this by the principle of humanism.
He said that it would be easier to understand the reasons that spurred young people to the ideology that leads to terrorism.
“Kosovo is the birthplace of all its citizens, Islam in Kosovo has never been a threat, we should say no to extremism,” Haradinaj said at the presentation of the UNAP, the United Nations Development Program.
Kosovo, according to estimates of Balkan and other European analysts, is the territory with the largest percentage of terrorists fighting in Syria in relation to the population. More than 300 men and 36 women went from here to the Middle East. A similar correlation is found in another Balkan country, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
