On Thursday, September 21, tens of thousands of people took to streets again discontented with the government’s plans to reform the labor legislation proposed by President Emmanuel Macron.
Huge demonstrations took place on the eve of the approval of the reform, which is planned by the government on Friday, September 22.
The “General Confederation of Labor” (GCL) trade union announced the holding on Thursday of about 200 protest actions throughout France. Demonstrators, in particular, held banners with the slogans “Macron – the puppet of employers”, “No labor market reform”, and also called on the government to abandon the reform in the proposed form.
