A group of international journalists were shown a former combat-vehicle construction hub of the self-proclaimed Islamic State (IS; formerly ISIS/ISIL), near the city of Akerbat on Monday. The briefing was led by the Head of Russian troops’ headquarters in Syria Alexander Lapin.
