Both pro- and anti-Trump supporters lined the streets of Springfield, Missouri, Wednesday, as US President Donald Trump visited the town to give a speech about tax reform to workers and supporters.
Trump supporters were hoping to get a glimpse of the president, whilst nearly 2,000 left-wing protesters, organised as part of The People’s Protest, gathered a mile south of the supporters. There were reportedly no violent clashes between the two groups and police officers patrolled the streets.
