USA: Protesters condemn Virginia violence outside White House

Thousands of protesters rallied in front of the White House in Washington DC, Sunday, to condemn the acts of white nationalist violence and displays of racial hatred that were seen in Charlottesville, Virginia, over the weekend.

White nationalist protests in Charlottesville culminated in the death of a person after a car rammed into a group of counter-protesters on Saturday. Clashes also erupted between counter-demonstrators and self-proclaimed neo-Nazi, Ku Klux Klan and white supremacist groups.
