German police faced off with hundreds of peaceful Anti G20 activists and residents, who were gathering at Pferdemarkt in Hamburg on Tuesday night.
With police trucks lining up around the surrounding streets, special vehicles such as water cannons and bulldozers were deployed, as well as several hundred officers in riot gear. Protesters were pushed down the streets, as the police split up the demonstration, moving the activists into small groups.
