Bulgaria can drop Russian sanctions

Bulgarian President Rumen Radev said he was ready to support the lifting of anti-Russian sanctions, but can not initiate the process himself.

“I will be happy to support any actions to drop these sanctions, but it should be clear that the president himself can not initiate such actions,” Radev said.

He noted that the EU mechanism is built in such a way that even one country can launch the process of lifting sanctions, and sooner or later it will happen, as mutual restrictive measures bring only harm.
