One of the London Bridge attackers shot dead after murdering seven people was a pastry chef from north Africa carrying an Irish ID card on his bullet-riddled body, it was revealed today.
The suspect, who has not been named, is believed to have been born in Morocco but moved to Dublin around five years ago after marrying a Scottish woman.
Gardai in Ireland say he was living in the Rathmines area of the Irish capital with his wife but he was not on their radar as a terrorist.
It is understood that the couple may have moved to London just months before the attack was launched and he is believed to have links to the 12 people arrested in a Barking tower block yesterday.
