Protesters in Montenegro blocked the bridge

In Montenegro, about 200 demonstrators blocked traffic on the central bridge of Podgorica. As reports News front correspondent from the scene, the protesters expressed their support to mothers with many children who went on a hunger strike in protest against the decrease in “child” payments.

“We will block the entire movement, the whole Montenegro, if the mothers’ voices won’t be not heard,” said one of the initiators of the action, journalist and civil activist Marko Milacic.

Another prominent public figure Bosko Vukicevic joined the protest. According to him, the protest of the mothers right in front of the parliament building is ignored by the authorities.

Payments for third and subsequent children in Montenegro were raised on the eve of the elections in October last year, and after them were sharply reduced by 25%.
