7511 signatures were collected, was announced at a press conference. This is more than a significant indicator for the country with a population of 600 thousand people.

About 95% of citizens said that they don’t want the accession of Montenegro into NATO.

Signatures were submitted to “New Serbian Democracy”, which on the basis of this popular will, would pursue the referendum.

Recall, that at the end of the previous year, NATO has sent an official invitation to Montenegro to join the Alliance. Despite the mass protests of citizens, the country can become a member of a hostile military alliance.
