CNN Turk reported that at least two people were killed and seven wounded in a suicide bombing in a major shopping and tourist district in central Istanbul Saturday.

An explosion was heard Saturday on Istiklal boulevard, a main high street in the centre of Istanbul, just off Taksim Square.
According to initial reports, two people were injured.
The pedestrian street was completely sealed off and police officers and ambulances were deployed to the area.
