The Head of the Donetsk People’s Republic Alexander Zakharchenko has announced the beginning of issuing the national passports.
‘This historic day has come. Donetsk People’s Republic has officially started issuing passports to our citizens. That is a serious and important step on the path of nation-building, on the path of Republic’s development. And today I am announcing the beginning of issuing the DPR passports’, Zakharchenko said.
Starting today, all the residents who have reached the age of 16 will receive new documents. The state duty for a passport amounts 250 rubles.
