The Lebanese Security Forces have reportedly arrested 4 members of the Islamic State of Iraq and Al-Sham (ISIS) that were caught recruiting young Lebanese men to join the aforementioned terrorist group’s fight inside of Syria and Iraq.
According to a report from the Lebanese General Security office, the 4 members of ISIS formed a sleeper cell inside of the country to promote the terrorist group’s ideologies and recruit young fighters to “jihad” in both Syria and Iraq in order to assist their dwindling forces.
One of the terrorist’s captured admitted that he pledged allegiance to ISIS via his Lebanese-Australian cousin that was currently jihading inside the Syrian province of Al-Raqqa.
All 4 ISIS members will be arraigned by the Lebanese civil courts after the holidays.
