The Information branch of the Interior Security Forces managed to arrest Bilal Al-Baqqar, who was the mastermind of the Burj al-Barajneh suicide blasts in northern Lebanon.
Baqqar was the assistant commander of the terrorist cell behind the blasts.
Baqqar’s task was receiving the suicide bombers from the terrorist group’s leader, Sattam Mohammad Shitewe, in the Arsal barrens where the latter hides.
Baqqar used to cooperate with the terrorist Abdel Karim Al-Sheikh, who is the second assistant to the commander and the distributor of explosives in several areas, which Shitewe selects to carry out the suicide blasts, according to the same sources.
